Atlantic Explorers owner and operator, Gregor Wilson, is a professionally certified Lead Guide with the Association of Canadian Sea Kayak Guides. He has paddled and guided extensively on the Atlantic and Pacific coasts of Canada. As well, Gregor completed the Adventure Travel Guide program at the University College of the Cariboo, in British Columbia. This program is highly regarded as a world industry leader in adventure guide training.

Gregor discovered his love of the outdoors at an early age and has developed a respect for nature and our environment. Through his experiences, he has developed a unique understanding of natural history, ecology and our environment.
During the off-season, Gregor has acted as the Head of Mountain Safety at Ski Wentworth, Nova Scotia. He is an experienced backcountry skier, and enjoys photography, hiking, and mountain biking. Gregor holds a BA from the University of Kings College in Nova Scotia, with focuses on History, Environmental Science, and Education.
